Overview

Our Fencing Service

Garden and boundary fencing with posts set firmly, from closeboard and feather-edge to panel fencing and gates. We concrete the posts in and line the run true, so the fence stays straight and stable for years.

    The Process

    How It Works

    1. 1

      Survey and quote

We visit your local property, check the boundary line and ground conditions, and give you a written, itemised quote.

    2. 2

      Remove old fencing

If needed, we remove and dispose of the existing fence.

    3. 3

      Set posts

We set posts to the correct depth in concrete footings, spaced correctly for the fence type.

    4. 4

      Fit panels or boards

We fit your chosen fencing style, then clean down before we hand back.

    Why Us

    Why Choose Us

A few reasons customers across Berkshire & Surrey choose us:

    • Checkatrade-approved, so our past work and reviews are there for you to check before you commit
    • We set posts to the correct depth in concrete footings, rather than the shortcuts that lead to leaning fences
    • One team handles your fencing from groundwork to finish, with a single point of contact throughout
    • We work on both residential gardens and commercial boundary fencing

    What Affects the Price

Every job is different, so we quote after we've seen the site. The main factors are:

    • The scope of the project and how much of the garden is involved
    • Groundworks, drainage and any level changes
    • The materials and structures you choose
    • Access to the garden for machinery, materials and waste

    FAQ

    Fencing Questions

How high can my garden fence be?

In most cases, a fence can be up to two metres high, or one metre if it's next to a road used by vehicles, without needing planning permission. We'll flag anything you need to check when we survey your local property.

Who is responsible for a boundary fence?

This depends on the property's title deeds, which usually indicate which boundary belongs to which property. If it's unclear, this is worth checking before fencing work begins.

    How long does fencing last?

A well-installed fence with properly set posts can last many years. The posts and footings are usually the deciding factor, since panels or boards can be replaced individually if the underlying structure is sound.

Can you repair a damaged section of fencing rather than replacing it all?

In many cases, yes, particularly with closeboard fencing where individual boards can be replaced. We'll advise on the best approach when we assess the damage.

Do you fit fencing for businesses as well as homeowners?

Yes. Alongside residential gardens, we fit boundary and security fencing for businesses in your area.
